This is an introductory class meant to introduce the concepts and semantics of HTML. It is aimed at beginners.

This class will not make you an expert, but hopefully you will take away some solid basics.

We will cover:

• What HTML is and how it works
• How to write basic pages by hand, including
• Page headers, body
• Text formatting, links, images
• Lists and tables (as time permits)
• The role of editors like Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Komposer, etc.
