This is an intermediate/advanced level course. Participants must have either taken a T4T beginning PowerPoint course or have prior knowledge of and experience using PowerPoint.

Participants will learn how to:

Import sound, images and video
Create charts and diagrams
Animate text and objects
Use advanced level transitions and timing
Convert presentations to a movie
Create meaningful handouts

Class will be taught using PowerPoint 2007

Excel - Formulas and Functions

Excel - Basics

Hands-on Mail Merge Workshop

Suppose that you need to send each of your employees a letter containing personal tax withholding and salary information. Or perhaps you want to send a personalized form letter or email to each of your donors. Creating each letter individually would take hours, but using the mail merge function, all you have to do is create one document, add some placeholders, and Microsoft Word will combine the main document with your unique information to create a set of complete documents.

Requests for Adobe Photoshop classes are very frequent here at T4T Colorado. While we still aren't able to offer a Photoshop class*, we’re happy to offer the next best thing: GIMP. That’s the GNU Image Manipulation Program. GIMP includes most of the same features as Photoshop with one big difference: the price. GIMP is free. That means you can come to class, learn the program, then go back to the office and download it. For free.

Prezi for Nonprofits

Prezi is a free, web-based tool for creating engaging presentations. It is an alternative to PowerPoint that uses a map layout and zooming to show contextual relationships between items and ideas.

This hands-on introduction will present all of the concepts you'll need to begin creating your own Prezis.

Windows Movie Maker

Windows Movie Maker (WMM) is not the fanciest video editing program on the market, but it is the program that most likely came with your PC. It’s just sitting there on your computer, so you might as well learn how to create and edit videos with it!
