We're depending on the class participants to help steer the direction of this class!

Here's how it'll work:
Rather than cover abstract or academic HTML and CSS, the instructor will take the class through a handful of practical, real-life web design scenarios. Possible topics include:

• Rounding the corners on boxes
• Adding cool mouse-over effects to buttons
• Making SEO-friendlier graphical headlines and titles
• Creating a columnar page layout
• or ... ?

So, is there is something specific that you'd like covered? Are you struggling with how to accomplish something in HTML/CSS? Let us know, email Brian for requests and inqueries! Email Brian with your quandaries or scenarios. (Please send your suggestions in early so materials can be prepared.)

If no one has any requests, it will be instructor's prerogative to prepare a selection of hopefully-interesting topics ... but wouldn't it be better to lobby for your ideas?

Prerequisites: This class will steer clear of Javascript, PHP, and other languages, so only a basic comfort with CSS and HTML is required (HTML and CSS knowledge is important). If you're not sure, just ask. And if you haven't seen it already, we're offering a 2-part Introduction to CSS on January 20th and January 27th.

Fee: $10 for nonprofit staff and volunteers.
