We're depending on the class participants to help steer the direction of this class!

Here's how it will work:
Rather than cover abstract or academic Excel topics, we want to hear from you. What's causing you problems in Excel? Is there something you've always wanted to learn? Let us know. We'll design the class around your topics!

Possible topics include:

  • Conditional Formatting: Automatically highlight cells if they meet a given criteria
  • Pivot Tables: View and summarize your data in useful ways
  • Data Comparison: Quickly compare two columns of data and find differences
  • Multiple Functions: Apply more than one function to a cell
  • Link Worksheets: Use and link formulas across several worksheets
  • Macros: Complete a series of keystrokes with just one keystroke or mouse click

So, is there something specific you’d like covered? Let us know! Email Andy with your questions and scenarios (the earlier, the better).

If no one has any requests, it will be the instructor’s prerogative to prepare a selection of topics. But wouldn’t it be better to lobby for your ideas?!

Prerequisites: No need to be an expert in Excel, but it would be useful to know your way around. Experience creating your own spreadsheets or modifying existing ones would be great. If you’re not sure about your ability, just ask.

Fee: $10 for nonprofit staff and volunteers

Instructor: Andy Lubansky
