Definitely one of the most popular classes we offer here at T4T. This course will be taught using a program called GIMP. It includes most of the same features as Photoshop with one big difference: The price. GIMP is free. That means you can come to class, learn the program, then go back to the office and download it. For free.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • Layer Management and editing
  • Resizing, scaling and cropping images
  • Color level and image contrast manipulation
  • Tool familiarity and basic use

Most of the steps taught in our 2-hour course will be identical to steps used in Photoshop. So if you already have Photoshop installed, you can feel comfortable registering for this class.

After you fall in love with the Image Manipulation basics, we invite you back for our Intermediate Image Manipulation course in October.

Fee: $10 for nonprofit staff and volunteers

Instructor: Robb Neumann
