Mail Merge Workshop: Introduction

When:
11/07/2006 - 9:00am - 11/07/2006 - 10:30am

This workshop assumes no knowledge of mail merges! All you need is a basic understanding of how to use your computer and the ability to operate Word and Excel at a beginner level. Mail merges are easy and immediately useful.

By the end of this workshop you will:

  • Understand mail merges and what they can do for you.
  • Be able to manage a mailing list in Excel.
  • Merge information from Excel (or Access) into Word using the Wizard.
  • Be able to email or print simple, useful group mailings.

The class will run from 9 to 10:30am, with open lab (and free time with the instructor) until 11:00am. Please bring a mailing list – either on disk or printed – if possible, so it is more relevant for you.
