WordPress is web software you can use to create a polished website or blog. One of our favorite things about it? It's free.

More specifically, WordPress is an open source Content Management System (CMS) that allows users to re-arrange content and widgets without editing PHP or HTML code. What's that mean to you? It gives you the ability to create a website with little web development knowledge. You also have the option to edit the actual code if you're going for something a little more advanced.

Millions of people use WordPress to create very professional websites. Here are a few examples.
