We'll be focusing on functionality that will save you time and headaches in this 2-hour course.

The topics:

  • Pivot Tables - Quickly summarize, slice, dice, and simplify huge amounts of data
  • V-Lookup - Match fields in different tables to connect information
  • Filters - Collapse your data to view items that only meet certain criteria
  • Macros - Record a series of keystrokes so that you don't have to constantly repeat yourself
  • Graphs/Charts - We'll have time to cover many of the most popular styles
  • Linking spreadsheets - Enough said

Prerequisite: Please arrive at class with working knowledge of Excel. If you've never used Excel, or rarely use Excel, this is probably not the class for you. Check out our Excel Basics course or our Excel Formulas and Functions course instead!

Fee: $10 for nonprofit staff and volunteers
