Workshop: Intro to HTML
Submitted by Brian
When:
04/26/2007 - 1:00pm - 04/26/2007 - 2:30pm
This is an introductory class meant to introduce the concepts and semantics of HTML. It is aimed at beginners. This class will not make you an expert, but hopefully you will take away some solid basics.
We will cover:
- What HTML is and how it works
- How to write basic pages
- The role of editors like Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Nvu, GoLive, etc.
By the end of the class you will (hopefully):
1) Build a simple site by hand
2) Make some sense of what Dreamweaver (etc.) generates
3) Have a basis for learning more about creating webpages
