If you are interested in professional development in desktop publishing, this is a 15-week intensive program divided into four sections of comprehensive study in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and the Principles and Elements of Graphic Design in Print Media. Through a succession of hands-on projects, the focus will be on how programs are used in the design/print media setting, understanding the importance of communicating visually and building a solid desktop publishing foundation. Your final project will be to design and create a 4-page newsletter. Class attendance and project completion is required. You should have introductory experience in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator prior to taking this class.
