Creating a Project Plan with MS Project

The perfect mix of technique and software!

Participants in this class will work together to create a project plan from scratch. Specifically, you will develop a Gantt chart using MS-Project 2007.

The instructor will project her laptop screen image so that the participants can work collaboratively and discuss typical planning issues. The instructor will explain how to document the work breakdown structure, work with the calendar, and assign resources in MS-Project 2007.

Note: This class will increase your familiarity with MS-Project 2007, but it is not a hands-on class to learn the software.

This class will be taught by a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).


Class Fee: $10 for nonprofit staff and volunteers
