Dental

Here is a list of possible dental resources. Most dental procedures are not covered by AmeriCorps Health Care plan unless they are due to an injury or for emergency pain relief. Be sure to consult your manual or the official website for further information.

  Offers memberships to its dental, optical, chiropractic and pharmaceutical plan. Members can save twenty-five to sixty-five percent on all dental restorative and cosmetic work (fillings, crowns, braces, etc.), and they can save up to eighty percent on preventative dental work (teeth cleaning, x-rays, etc.). General dentistry and all specialties, where available, are included. The prescription drug chiropractic and vision care benefits are free with the dental membership.   Persons with current glasses prescriptions less than a year old may select frames and order glasses through the Center's optical department. Minor repairs or replacement lenses or frames are also available. Walk in with current prescriptions or repairs. The Americorps Health plan offers up to $50 for standard repair of glasses.
