Participants will cover the following subjects and through hands-on examples and demonstrations:
• Using pre-designed Publisher publications and adapting them to create your own publication
• How to: Add text to a publication, revise and reposition the text, create columns, and continue a story on another page
• How to: add a picture to a publication, change how the picture looks, and control how text wraps around it.
• How to use Mail and Catalog merge to add personalization and customization

This class will use Microsoft PowerPoint for straightforward visual presentation. Students in this class are expected to have a nodding acquaintance with PowerPoint and simple presentation preparation.

• Why use Windows XP?
• How to navigate Windows XP - mainly Windows Explorer, Control Panel etc.
• Installing Programs, Deleting Programs
• Managing and security for folders
• Managing users
