Founded in 1922, Pikes Peak United Way (PPUW) is a community-based, autonomous member organization of United Way of America. PPUW is a locally-governed, independent organization dedicated to making sustained improvements in community conditions throughout El Paso and Teller counties.

This is an introductory class to show users the very basics of how to use Microsoft Word.
We will cover:
• How to use Microsoft Word basics (saving, printing, etc.)
• How to manipulate text (fonts, size, color)
• How to insert clip-art, pictures, and horizontal rules
• How to make numbered/bulleted lists

This hands-on class is for beginning students who are comfortable with Windows and the mouse. It would be helpful if the student has worked with Excel, but not required.

• Navigating Access - Menus & Toolbars
• Open a database and view the data.
• The database components - Tables, Queries, Forms, and Reports

This introductory class will provide you with the concepts and semantics of HTML. It is aimed at beginners. This class will not make you an expert, but hopefully you will take away some solid basics.
