Q & AThe Four Most Popular Questions Fielded at T4T Colorado World Headquarters (answers included)

We originally intended to make this article "The Top Five Questions...", but only four questions really stood out above the others. So that's what you get.

Q. Why don’t you offer classes in Photoshop (or Quickbooks or Raiser’s Edge or Commodore 64)? Q. I was looking at your online training calendar and there aren’t any classes scheduled after next month. Why? Q. So you guys just offer different software and computer classes? Q. I forgot my password for my T4T online account. How do I register for a class?

Calendar in Blue with Old English FontThe Sextilis Calendar*

This month, T4T is kicking off a new four-part Active Learning Series all about Social Media for Nonprofits. It’s four dates (8/19, 8/26, 9/2, 9/9) in late Sextilis and early September. Also, we're offering ever-popular classes including Step-by-Step Web Page Creation with Robb, Content Management Strategies, Intro to Publisher, and more!

Sign up early, as space is limited and many classes do fill up. Take a look.

*August, named for the first Roman Emporor Augustus, was formerly named Sextilis (sixth month, in Latin). Unofficial and entirely ad-hoc T4T policy condones neither imperialism nor the Dark Side of the Force, and thus, in this newsletter, we elect to use the more traditional – and democratic – name.

The goal of this article is not to evaluate CRM systems: that is something that needs to be done with the specifics about any given organization. Rather, here are 10 things to think about when starting that evaluation process.

Quick Website Poll

We'd like to send a big thank-you out to both people who responded to last month's amazing one-question poll. Thanks to your feedback, our website redesign will likely feature the elimination of all buttons! If you'd like to share any other feedback, feel free to drop us a note.

Comparing Online vs. Traditional Office Software

Is online office software likely to fit your needs better than desktop software? Or are installed applications like Microsoft Office the reigning champs for a reason? Idealware takes a look at the differences in the areas that are often important to nonprofits.
