Give-away

I am giving away some PC hardware and a bunch of training guides for various common software applications. Preferably, quickly. Here's what I've got ...

First, the books. These are all rather new copies of training guides for technology classes and include the disks in the back-cover-pockets. Below, I've listed what titles I've on hand. These are mostly Element K "Student Manuals". The few that are "Basic"and "Intermediate" instead of level numbers are "Course Technology" by Thompson Learning. These will be given out to whomever asks, first come first served so to speak. Add a "comment" to this post if you're interested, so others can see what has already been claimed.

  • Title - Level (Qty)
  • Access 2002 - Lvl 1 (1)
  • Access 2002 - Lvl 2 (12!)
  • Access 2002 - Basic (6)
  • PowerPoint 2003 - Lvl 2 (1)
  • PowerPoint 2002 - Lvl 2 (3)
  • PowerPoint 2002 - Lvl 1 (1)
  • Excel 2002 - Lvl 2 (4)
  • Excel 2002 - Lvl 3 (1)
  • Excel 2002 - Intermediate (3)
  • Word 2002 - Lvl 2 (2)
  • Dreamweaver MX Win - Lvl 2 (3)
  • Dreamweaver MX Mac - Lvl 2 (2)
  • Dreamweaver MX Mac - Lvl 1 (1)
  • HTML 4.01 Instrucor's Edition - Lvl 3 (1)

Second, some hardware...

  • A handful of new-in-box IBM internal v.90 56k Modems (31P7201)
  • One IBM 2.6ghz P4 ThinkCentre (8194-D2U) with 256mb RAM and 40gb HD. Software installed includes Windows XP Pro, OO 2.1, WCG, and a few other bits (Freecell!).

The computer equipment does have to go to 501c(3) nonprofits -- hopefully the PC ends up some place where one PC can make a difference. So if you work for a NP or know one that has a need, great! Again, leave a comment here to put in your request.

Thanks,

Brian

Wow!!! We would love one

Wow!!!

We would love one each of the Access packets.  Also, the IBM would certainly make a difference for us if no one has claimed it yet - that's especially wonderful that it has XP Pro as the rest of our computers have that too.  (I'm hoping to hold off on Vista and Office 07 until we absolutely have to change over).  Our staff is expanding, but the computer availability hasn't quite caught up yet - our computer budget this year went, rather unexpectedly, to a new server instead of a new workstation.  We have a small network - 6 computers in all.

interest in access books
