Greetings from T4T's New Program Director

Hello and thank you for visiting T4T's website.

As Teaming for Technology's new Program Director, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. Originally from sunny southern New Mexico, I moved to Colorado in 2004 to join T4T as an AmeriCorps*VISTA, in hopes of being able to make a difference in the nonprofit community. I focused my time on volunteer management and expanding the training program in the greater Boulder area. After finishing my year of service, I put my Marketing degree to use, spending two and a half years working for international education and health and human services consulting firms, both in Denver and Santiago, Chile.

I am so pleased and excited to return to T4T to serve as Program Director. Although I've only been back with T4T for one month, I have already been reminded of the important role we play in helping Colorado nonprofits get more out of their technology. I see a lot of potential for our program to strengthen the nonprofit tech community along the Front Range.

As T4T strives to "build better communities through technology," please help us by speaking out about what we can do to better serve you. This month, you will find a one-question survey on our website asking you what we can do for your nonprofit. Just by responding, you could win a free computer!

Having been a volunteer, a volunteer recruiter, a grant writer, and a proposal writer, I love that I actually get to GIVE computers away through T4T. We certainly wouldn't be as effective without the generous support of IBM and United Way, but it is your community support that keeps us going. I look forward to hearing from each of you.

In service,

Emily
