Because T4T’s classes frequently fill up and have waitlists, Mile High United Way has just increased the number of workstations in its computer lab by 50%. Along with the addition of four new computers, new desks and a cleaner layout make improved use of the existing space. Thus, the room feels more spacious than ever and hopefully will be more comfortable for participants.

There is only so much you can do to make a picture of an empty computer lab look exciting.

“Some of our more popular topics, such as Excel, frequently exceeded the eight spaces in the lab. 12 definitely isn’t too many students for an instructor to manage, either,” says Andy Lubansky, T4T Program Director, “And be sure to check out the zip ties!”

Visit the online calendar for a current list of classes. Teaming for Technology also offers workshops at the YWCA and Family Learning Center, in Boulder, and the Community Partnership for Child Development in Colorado Springs.
