Lisa's VISTA Year Comes to an End

I would like to thank T4T Colorado in providing me with an opportunity to get intimately acquainted with the Colorado Springs community, the community in which I live in. My AmeriCorps*VISTA term was an exceptional experience in that we, as a community, were able to identify a real need and address it effectively. Because of your enthusiasm in being effective in what you do, you have made the software training program a huge success! Our exceptional volunteers were a very large part of this success as well as all the great nonprofits out there working on real issues. As all good things come to an end in one way or another, I must say that this experience has been one of the greatest. I am ready to accept a new position of value.

While the future of T4T in Colorado Springs still remains uncertain, I am volunteering my time with a nonprofit organization called IT!, located in Manitou Springs, to continue the program. Many of you have probably heard about them. They offer 40 hours of free IT services to nonprofits. We believe the software training program will be a great program for them!
