Computer Education Professional

Help propel your community into the technology era by sharing your computer knowledge and skills with our local nonprofit organizations. These organizations need your professional expertise in helping them become proficient with current software technologies. Teaming for Technology (T4T) is developing “How To” training workshops in our computer lab in Manitou Springs, and we need volunteers to facilitate basic and advanced software workshops. Choose to teach one class or several in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, and Outlook. The workshops will range from very basic, such as "How to do mail merges" to more advanced, such as "How to create reports in Access." Volunteers should have a good working knowledge on the software of choice. Come with your talents and we’ll create the perfect opportunity that benefits our agencies. Volunteers must be professional, patient, reliable, and possess the ability to teach computer skills and display knowledge of computer applications. Volunteer training prior to class date will be provided. Workshops are designed in one-hour to one-and-a-half hour increments with a very specific curriculum.
