Larry Mead was looking for an opportunity to share his expertise. He wanted to challenge his own skills, help the local nonprofit community and satisfy his need to volunteer. We’re very thankful that he stumbled upon Teaming for Technology.

Larry’s style is fun, light-hearted and practical at the same time. Want to learn how to create a budget worksheet in Excel? Ask Larry. How about building a graph of your organization’s annual donations and volunteer hours in Excel? Ask Larry. Wondering about historical real estate prices in Syracuse, New York? Ask Larry.

Larry in TucsonWhile still a relative newcomer to Colorado, he’s been employed with Deluxe Corporation since 1988. He and his wife had the opportunity to relocate to a number of cities back in 2006 and they chose Colorado Springs because of the climate and the numerous outdoor activities.

When not working or volunteering, Larry loves spending time with his wife and sons. Next month, he and his wife, Ruth, will celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary. His favorite outdoor activities are walking, playing with the 2 dogs, and learning to golf. When locked inside on rainy or snowy days, you can find him busy working on his family tree. He recently traced his mother’s family back to 1200 AD in Denmark!

Larry has taught our Excel Basics class the past two months, but your next chance to find him will be at the end of February teaching Intermediate Excel for the folks down in the Colorado Springs area. See our online Course Calendar for more information.
