World Community Grid "Hidden" Installation

Following our last TechLaunch meeting, Rachel asked me about the World Community Grid and if I "could send those directions to hide the program." I did send her an email with instructions, but it seemed the sort of thing that might be of benefit to others in this group.

So I've turned that email into a more generalized page with lots of screenshots. If you're interested in details on a hidden installation, please visit

Let me know if you have any feedback, questions, or need clarification. I hope this helps.

(By the way, thank you to those who have sent in your WCG Team/User names. I'm still missing a few, though . . . )
