Hailing from sunny southern New Mexico, Emily relocated to Colorado in early 2004 to join T4T as an AmeriCorps*VISTA in hopes of finding greener pastures and a chance to make a difference in the nonprofit community. After two and a half years of working in international education and health and human services consulting, Emily returned to T4T to serve as Program Director in September 2007.
Having been a volunteer, a volunteer recruiter, a grant writer, and a proposal writer, Emily loves that in her new role with T4T she actually gets to GIVE computers away. Although Emily misses quality green chile, she is a big fan of the beautiful Colorado summers, and springs, and falls . . . but don't get her started on Colorado winters.
